Strengths:    very bright at 900 lumens
charges quickly
price point
battery mounts nicely between top and down tubes

Weaknesses:    the handle bar mount is flimsy with 2 design flaws. 1 - the handle bar clamp is based on a clip design and doesn't allow to completely tighten it down VS a bolt/screw based mount - results in you having to readjust your light durring your ride 2 - the connecter piece that clips the light into the clamp is flimsy and suspect to vibration which results in a strobe effect on trail. Neither are an issue on the helmet mount.

Bottom Line:
this a powerful light with great battery life. the handle bar mounts needs some work.

Advice needed: Any experience with Sigma PowerLED Evo?

I'm new to night riding, but want to be prepared to get into it as the days get shorter. I picked up a couple of these on the Clymb, but don't see them in the mtbr light test. I'm wondering if they are worth keeping: [url=http://www.sigmasport.com/us/produkte/beleuchtung/powerlights/powerled_ ... Read More »
