Great Blinkie!
Hooded lamp keeps you from being blinded.
25% of profits go to bicycle advocacy!Weaknesses: Not bright enough to be a serious light
Button cell batteryBottom Line: I bought this light to serve primarily as a blinkie. The bike it is currently on is my commuter mountain bike and I ride to and from the trails. Keeping visible to traffic is important and you can definitely do so with this light. It is pretty dang bright LED. Its looks are deceiving do NOT look into this light! Its visible from a good distance and functions well as an attention getter. Its function as a real headlight.. is almost a joke. Sure its extremely bright, but this light should be nothing more than a limp home lamp. Distance is minimal as is focus.
Bottom line: I think its obvious that the Spok was designed to be a primary blinkie with the possibility to be a utility/limp lamp. Its price is really cheap when it comes to your safety. It's a real attention getter and can be seen over most entry level headlamp systems. Do not get this as a primary lamp though.
5 chilis all around for a great blinkie that really pops. I love this thing!
