Strengths:    Quality beam pattern, rugged construction, light weight.

Weaknesses:    Too good to believe??? Technical wonks can get the most bang for the buck.

Bottom Line:
Wonderful people. Great product. I use this light for our regular Wed night ride. (6-9, year 'round) Better than anything else that I have tried. I currently have the iBlaast ii on my handlebar and use it with the Lume Strada (custom LiPo battery pack) on my helmet because the Strada has a narrow beam. The iBlaast ii puts out about the same amount of light on low as the Strada. The IBlaast ii has adjustable levels as well as adjustable meters for various battery setups. It is ideal for someone who has the technical expertise to adapt an existing battery pack or set up a new one of their own choosing. I have a 14.8V LiPo pack (650 mAH) that weighs 2.7 oz. and straps right onto the light. The entire light with handlebar clamp (from a Cygolight) and battery weighs 9.2 oz. This pack lasts for 2-6 hours on low, depending on how bright you want it. I carry a fully charged spare battery with me if I expect to be out for a long ride. If you want more light and can go with more weight, it's totally up to you. The battery packs & chargers that I use come from the RC car racing people on eBay. Nightlightning sells battery packs or they can help you with your own power solution.
