A great lightweight handlebar mounted 15 watt single light system that is perfect for road use yet durable enough for the roughest of offroad punishment. The water bottle style NiMH battery provides a strain relief for adjusting cord length. CNC machined alloy headlamp housing and quick release handlebar mount provides vertical and horizontal adjustment of light beam to adapt to all handlebar configurations. Plug & forget overnight charger provided.
Excellent product for the $$$. Definitely not a narrow, long throwing beam....but lights up nicely. Battery bottle fit right in my cage, fits snug. No problems with mounting bracket.

Strengths:
Very bright light, decent battery life. Easy install.
Weaknesses:
Long, mysterious charging time. Lights should shut off instead of browning out to prevent battery damage. Poor connector strength during off-road use.
Similar Products Used:
BLT 15W headlamps, Cateye handlebar mounts.
Bike Setup:
Handlebar mounted Torch, with alternate lights on helmet.
Bottom Line:
A bright handlebar mounted light. It lasted me 2 hours at +4Celsius during our last 24hour race with power to spare. It is much brighter than rated at 15W, the BLT 15W headlamp I was using was about 50-60% as bright, more yellow in colour with a smaller field of view.
The connecting cord WILL pop off during off-road use. Why does everybody use RCA or audio connectors on off-road all-weather equipment? Use a locking connector!!! Tape the sucker together before your laps.
The bezel on mine also came loose and was lost. Loctite or tape that sucker down too. Anodized aluminum is very slippery and should have something better to secure it.
** Worthwhile bright light--- needs a few home fixes. **Not as practical as a headlamp, but great as a 2nd light to give you that bright motorcycle-like brightness.

Strengths:
Easy to mount/dismount, variable length power cord feature, switch built into light housing.
Weaknesses:
run time, lack of smart charger

Bike Setup:
Trek 8000 stock, Trek 1200 stock
Bottom Line:
Inexpensive easy to use light. Would be nice to have a smart charger, faster charge, and longer run time, but for the price it is a good value. IF properly adjusted, the mount is easy to use. I take mine off after every ride, usually two time a week or so. Did have to try two cages to find one that holds the somewhat uniquely shaped "water bottle" battery securely.

Strengths:
NiCad battery, bright
Weaknesses:
very poorly made quick release handlebar mount
Similar Products Used:
Cygolite Explorer - much, much better product & cheaper.
Bike Setup:
commuter
Bottom Line:
Junk - not because of the light itself, but because of the flaky quick release on the handlebar mount. Mine wouldn't stay shut. Maybe I got a bad unit, but I returned it & tried a Cygolite Explorer instead. Also the battery is oddly shaped & wouldn't fit in my water bottle cage (inflexible molded plastic cages).

Strengths:
Light battery. Rugged and durable. Good enough light. Marwi has interchangeable parts so you can modify your light system.
Weaknesses:
The handlebar clamp wasn't easy to put on, but not impossible. The light dispersion could be better.
Similar Products Used:
Marwi elite, Marwi bullet, Sigma Mirage X Sport and last but not least Jet Lites Phantom i single beam.
Bike Setup:
Cannondale scalpel, carbon lefty ELO, full xtr
Bottom Line:
Good light for the price. Will get you though most off road terrain if you ride slowly. I don't want to knock this light, but the helmet light I was also using is in a league of its own and made the Torch look like a pen light.
I don't understand how other people say the the connector gets loose. It seems very secure to me. If I have any problems I'll post another review.
If you don't want to spend too much you could get a helmet light to go with the Torch if you want to do serious off road and single tracks with out having to slow down much. The Marwi Elite would do the trick.

Strengths:
This light accomplishes what it's supposed to do- well made, bright. Bar mount very easy to remove.
Weaknesses:
Connection- every time I ride home from work(~20 min.), the cables separate once if not twice. Can be pretty annoying. Also, the bar mount is ok but not great- a victim of it's ease of removal, it sometimes pops open during a ride.

Bottom Line:
This light is VG, but frustrating at times. Perhaps on another bar it'd be perfect. Very expensive, so if it doesn't last 3 yrs. I'll be disappointed. So far, light aspect is excellent, but the peripherals leave smth. to be desired.

Great lights for the price! I would definitely recommend based on my experience. All aspects of this product have met expectations. While I cannot comment on the customer service of Marwi as there have been no problems with the lights at all.
Does what it is supposed to do.
