Strengths:
helmet mounted, easy to find connectors to make your own battery
Weaknesses:
Not a very long life for the battery. I have replaced mine three times. The bulb has been replaced twice.

Bottom Line:
It is a good starter light. But the battery does not seem to want to last all that long. I average about a battery every eight months. But on the other hand, the connectors are not proprietary so you can acquire them to make your own battery fairly easily.

Strengths:
Little tiny battery lasts a full two hours. Light is bright without much of a hot spot; and that's with the spot light. Whole system is 470g, so two is only 940g that's still light for a helmet/handlebar combo.
Weaknesses:
Long charge time 8 hours.

bought handlebar mount and use two systems on both helmet and bike. Nice versitilety with this setup
Bottom Line:
Good system. Would I buy it today? I don't know? At the time it was one of the only NiMH systems out there. Now there is a lot more choices. I'm done with NiCads and "Gel Cell" (which is just another name for a lead acid battery by the way) systems.
