Strengths:    Crazy Bright, Light, Compact, Watertight, Durable

Weaknesses:    None that I've found yet

Bottom Line:
Best light I've used yet. Durable, reliable, light, Bright. Did I mention bright? It rides like its got mroe than 1400 lumins, or perhaps all other lights just put out less than they claim. This light is wicked!

Strengths:    Great beam pattern in a very light package. Very bright without having any hotspot to speak of.

Weaknesses:    Price is ridiculous ($700~if I had to buy retail there is no way this light is worth it). Burn time not extremely long. Not as bomber as other lightheads due to plastic body. Had the first one I bought go bad on ride 3...big time bummer on an epic descent luckily after much dicking around got it back on for the rest of ride... then dead for good! Good news is they fixed it right away and in about 10 days. Said they had to replace a bunch a major parts inside. Wish they had just replaced the whole light probably but it has worked for 6 months now without any issue.

Bottom Line:
Great light at a premium price. Should come with 2 batteries at that price like my Dinotte...?

Strengths:    excellent light beam and been generally happy

Weaknesses:    on removing the handle bar grip to fit the helmet unit mounting the mild steel self tapper snapped. Only to find two locating lugs preventing use of tools to remove snapped screw. I have decided that this is a technical design fault of either using and inferior screw or an engineer/manufacturer not thinking that this screw could be removed at any time for changing attachments. Presently I am struggling (several hours or procrastinating) to rectify other than drilling and inserting a new screw. no room for error! The locating lugs are causing the overall problem.

Bottom Line:
Overall the light is great and i would still recommend, however, please take in to account of the product weakness that I have highlighted.

Strengths:    Pleased as punch; works exactly as it should. Lights up everything. Reliable. Great even beam. A wealth of usable light allows me to bomb my favorite trails at night. Can easily be used alone as a helmet mounted light, or mounted on the handlebars in combo with a second helmet mounted light. Charges quickly. Most riding can be done at the low setting, with medium reserved for technical descents and high for very technical fast descents. Works great in the wet (thick fog, rain).

Weaknesses:    While riding in the rain/fog moisture gets inside the lens; however, does not affect the function of the light at all.

Bottom Line:
An amazingly bright, reliable, usable light. Worth every penny.

Bombing down trails at night, your life depends on your light working reliably and effectively. This light does.

It's an expensive piece of hardware, but one that will last years. And that does its work without you having to think about it.

I highly recommend it for mountain biking at night.

Strengths:    Bright, well engineered lighting system. Great beam pattern, and the mount does not slip anymore as in previous seca models. Lighweight, reliable burn time and charge time.

Weaknesses:    Light housing not as crash durable as the niterider product. Price is a little steep.

Bottom Line:
2 thumbs up.
