Strengths:    Works great - very consistent. Good run time.

Weaknesses:    Kinda pricey - but lasts a long time. No longer the standard for brightness.

Bottom Line:
I have owned the L&M ARC for over 5 years. Zero problems. I have ridden in rain, snow, summer, winter - you name it. This light just works and works every single time.
The light does flicker sometimes - not on and off, just kind of flickers in color tone. It has lots of hours on it so it probably is nearing end of life.
I use it as a helmet light for MTB and I belive this helps with longevity due to not being bounced harshly on bar mounts.
I use it bar-mounted on my road bikes.
There are lots of 1000+ lumen lights out now, but at 650, I have never needed a second light for singletrack riding at any speeds.

Strengths:    Very wide spread light, white light that resembles daylight, long runtime on the strong beam, smart charger, auto shutoff.

Weaknesses:    Have to put the light in front of a fan while discharging so it wont overheat.

Bottom Line:
Awsome light, very wide spread, you can ride trails like in daylight (No kidding). i defenetly recommand it to anyone who likes to "fly low" on trails and singles. I even had a crash with it and it took it well.
