Strength:

I've had this light with the original Li-Ion battery over 10 years now, and it has been awesome. I don't use it a ton, perhaps 8-10 times in the late fall/winter, but it has seen its share of Pacific Northwest rain & mud and no problems whatsoever. It was expensive - around $300, again over 10 years ago! - but it has been worth every penny. Top quality. I'm the type of person who cannot stand to buy inexpensive products that are cheaply made and last only a season (or less) and then end up in a landfill...complete waste of resources. It's really a bummer that Cygolite stopped making this light. Perhaps it was just too expensive and as a result had low volume sales, as all of their lights now are much less expensive. Anyway, this has been a great bike light for mtb night rides, and I'm glad it is still going strong.

Weakness:

I really haven't found any, honestly. Perhaps just the price.
