Product Description
The MultiStar offers one of the most unique flashing patterns of an LED taillight. In the flashing mode, the MultiStar's five LEDs flash in a random sequence making a amazing light show for 200 hours with two "AA" batteries. You may also keep it in the constant mode for 50 hours of steady visible light.

Strengths: Actual circuit design works well, and the light is nicely visibleWeaknesses: The quick release mounting clip breaks easily, and is difficult to fix when it does, making the unit useless. I have 2 of them, and both have the same problem.Bottom Line: Breaks too easily

Strengths: Easily the most attention getting tail light i've ever seen.Weaknesses: Seat post mount only. Will not fit on large diameter (specialized) seat posts. Dissasembly difficult.Bottom Line: You absolutely cannot have a more eye grabbing light than this. It has 5 water-clear-red LEDs. The center led is a super jumbo size while the 4 surrounding it are a more normal size. This light has two buttons located on the underside of the unit, power and mode. Pressing the buttons while riding the bike is easiliy accomplished with minimal practice. The light appears to cover 180 degrees but I have not measured it to verify this. The light has two mode: Constant lights all LEDs all the time, MultiStar flashes the LEDs in a random seizure inducing pattern. In constant mode it is no more noticible than any tail light, in multistar mode you cannot miss it. Clip on and release from the seat post mount is quick and secure. The only light that could possibly be better in my opinion is the Trek Disco Inferno but I have not seen it in person so I cannot provide a comparison.
