Date Reviewed: February 22, 2005
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $15.00
Strengths:Very bright, two color options (red and cristal) good battery life, cheap battery replacement (cheaper than aaa batteries), smal sized but very brighty, easy to remove from bike.
Weaknesses:The product gets into a shor circuit when exposed to water. Not so easy to find battery replacement.
Similar Products Used:Trek standard tailight
Bike Setup:MTB
Bottom Line:Very honest priced tailight with a good balance between visibility and size. The battery is cheap and durable but sometimes is hard to find (in Brazil it is not found on supermarket). The only weakness is that when you use it on rainy conditions it uses to jam, I had two of them and both showed the same problem. As a device that is attached unde the saddle, where the wates is delivered from te rear weell, it shoud be better sealed.

Date Reviewed: March 16, 2002
Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:Pretty cheap, small and bright.
Weaknesses:it's troublesome to switch to the flashing mode when u are on the bike.
Bottom Line:The taillight that does what it's supposed to. It's small enough to look unobtrusive, but bright enough to blind anything. it's also pretty decently priced. My only gripe is that you have to depress the switch twice from the off position to get it flashing, or u might end up on the non-flashing mode, which might make u eat up battery life. Kinda a troublesome when u wanna switch it on while on the saddle, but it is minor. other than that, it's a great choice.
