Strengths: Very bright, mounts perfectly under the bars!very well made and compact, inexpensive rechargeable batteries are readily available, I bought 2 sets from 2 manufacturers (Ultrafire and Trustfire)(just in case)! and an Ultrafire protected charger, all for a tenner! they are all good and last about 2 hours a set.....A good tip is buy 3.6v CR123 from Airsoft companies, much cheaper if not for a bike...???Weaknesses: The mount is not excellent above the bar and can slip if not really tight, but unless I'm missing something, below is the perfect place to put it anyway, as long as you don't mind the BLT logo being upside down...!
The beam is very direct without much spread, the ideal solution would be 2 of them, near and far...Bottom Line: Mount it under your bars, if you have room and cables don't obscure its line of sight...
For £25 UK and a £10 for 2 sets of batteries and a charger for 4 hours + night riding for years...what can I say...!

Strengths: The light is very powerful and signifigantly brighter than any other light that I've tried. The light is capable of providing light in the darkest areas of the commute.Weaknesses: The mount sucks. What I've done to help the mount stay in place is use hockey stick tape to secure the mount. Seems cheesy but very effective.Bottom Line: The mount asside this is a great light. The light is well made and seems to work well at temperatures down to -10 C. For $80.00 I would prefere not to have the light taped to the handle bar. The selection of lights in the LBS in the less than hundred dollar range is low, if I were to increase my budget then maybe something better might appear but that is a hard justification.

Strengths: Good strong solid light for road ridingWeaknesses: HORRIBLE MOUNT. Requires adjusting every minute or so even when road riding. The design of the clip seems very flimsy and i am always afraid that i will have to turn around and pick it up. When i go over a bump i am getting into the habit of holding the light just as a precaution.Bottom Line: The light is a good solid light and seems very durable. It is top heavy and drops every minute or so. If i am riding on sidewalk, it looks more like a disco light bouncing all over the place. I have added extra spacers under the rubber but this has not helped and it keeps pointing south. . .
Too bad i purchased it online or i would have returned product for a better mounting unit.
