Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $70.00
Purchased At:lbs
Strengths:The light is very powerful and signifigantly brighter than any other light that I've tried. The light is capable of providing light in the darkest areas of the commute.
Weaknesses:The mount sucks. What I've done to help the mount stay in place is use hockey stick tape to secure the mount. Seems cheesy but very effective.
Similar Products Used:planet bike
Bottom Line:The mount asside this is a great light. The light is well made and seems to work well at temperatures down to -10 C. For $80.00 I would prefere not to have the light taped to the handle bar. The selection of lights in the LBS in the less than hundred dollar range is low, if I were to increase my budget then maybe something better might appear but that is a hard justification.

Favorite Trail:Don Valley
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $55.00
Purchased At:Online Purchase
Strengths:Good strong solid light for road riding
Weaknesses:HORRIBLE MOUNT. Requires adjusting every minute or so even when road riding. The design of the clip seems very flimsy and i am always afraid that i will have to turn around and pick it up. When i go over a bump i am getting into the habit of holding the light just as a precaution.
Similar Products Used:several Cateye lights
Bike Setup:Cannondale BBU
Bottom Line:The light is a good solid light and seems very durable. It is top heavy and drops every minute or so. If i am riding on sidewalk, it looks more like a disco light bouncing all over the place. I have added extra spacers under the rubber but this has not helped and it keeps pointing south. . .
Too bad i purchased it online or i would have returned product for a better mounting unit.
