$170.00 | | Strengths: | It worked ok for the 1st year | | Weaknesses: | It has to be wet to work. It constantly loses signal. Sometimes not working at all. Have to wash the thing in the washing machine once a week. Replaced the batteries in both the watch and strap..still useless. | | Similar Products Used: | thumb on wrist | | Bike Setup: | Giant Anthem Team with all XT | | Bottom Line: | I went for the slightly more expensive RS200 with the elastic strap, loose sensor belt. I hate the damn thing. When I use the sealed, cheaper strap which my wife has, it works all the time. I sent the strap to Polar and they want to replace the "new" battery and upgrade the elastic to a improved material. I have to pay for the repairs. Doesn't this sound like an acknowledgement that the strap is crap. I told them to keep it! I already have a new one which is just as crap! I cannot get the Polar uplink tool working since I bought the thing either. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
