Strengths: I like the calorie function. I set a point in the ride that my training ends and I start earning beer.Weaknesses: DurabilityBottom Line: I have had terrible luck with the durability of this HRM. It used to work fine while climbing, but blank out and lose all info during rough descents. Now, it blanks out anytime I try to change the display. It probably would have been fine for road riding, but that's not what I do.

Strengths: This heart rate monitor is pretty durable. I hit a sign the other day doing about 30kph and the wrist piece took a direct hit and didn't break. The strap popped apart but that was easy to fix. While I'm riding I have it showing my current HR, and I can pace myself to keep my heart rate where I want to. At the end of the ride,I look at the file and I can see what my average HR was and exercise time.Weaknesses: The wrist piece isn't too fancy looking. Sometimes the telemetry strap slips but that's mostly due to the V-shape of my upper body!!!!!Bottom Line: If you want a HR monitor that gives you the basics and won't break the bank, this is the one. If you need your speed and wattage etc. your going to have to spend a lot more money.

Strengths: Durability, customized calorie-burning info, ease of useWeaknesses: Weight, compared to similar modelsBottom Line: Easy to use, reliable hrm. Only problem is that my girlfirend has an older Polar hrm model, and my hrm will pick up both of our heart rates. Otherwise, a great hrm.
