    Strengths:    Reliable

    Weaknesses:    Limited features

    Bottom Line:
Basically, this is an entry-level no-frills heart rate monitor. All it can do is provide a real-time heart rate measurement along with elapsed time and average heart rate during the course of the measurement. That's it. Not even a time/date function. But what you do get is an incredibly reliable Polar quality measurement system that does its job perfectly. Never had a problem with the unit crapping out and I do not ever need to use a messy gel either. So, this unit does exactly what it intends to!

Hey guys. I just picked up a 2000 Rockhopper A1 FSR Comp for a good price and I've been looking for more info on them. From what I've seen they only made them for 1 year for the RH FSR, RH FSR Comp and the Expedition A1 FSR which was built in the commuter/hybrid style. [url=http://www.bikepedia.c ... Read More »

Heya! So I'm just starting out and have no idea how to value mtb's and their components... Ideally, I'd ride a 16", but I haven't had much luck finding a decent used one I'm checking out 2 bikes tomorrow: '01 15" Specialized Hardrock A1 FS - $190 [url=http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/bid/4444163 ... New toy - Troy lee A1 Helmet :)

I must say - it is a pretty bad ass helmet. Damn. I'm used to the "Italian clasp/rear of the head huggin" type of helmets like LAS and KASK. They are super snug and really clasp the base of your skull. This one, being a mtb helmet, covers the back of your head but also manages to give you that "cl ... Read More »
