Strengths: Compact and durable design, simple and logical interface, HR displayed in % of Max, fast readings, easy to read display, includes simple and lightweight handlebar mount, batteries in the belt and in the HRM can be replaced anywhere, good shape of the beltWeaknesses: A bit low range of the signal from the belt (It is enough for me for normal biking, running and skiing), buttons could be better in the terms that you know, when you pressed itBottom Line: If you just need a simple and durable HRM to control your pace below anaerobic treshold then this is one of the best.

Strengths: You input your age and it automatically calculates your max. heart rate and the b.p.m for different ranges e.g. 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% of max. heart rate. You can also customise your own range. So the output is in b.p.m and % of max. heart rate which makes the display easy to read. Battery in the transmitter is easy to replace.Weaknesses: Transmitter range on my autozone was very poor. It was fine if the receiver was worn on the wrist, but if it was put on the bike, I had to bend over for it to work. The transmitter stopped working after about 6 months. I replaced the battery, but it still didn't work. The nightlight feature is not very good; you have to look at the display from an angle to read it. When worn on the wrist, it wasn't very comfortable.Bottom Line: I am going to buy a Polar heart rate monitor next time.
