Strengths:    This is for the Ambit3. Accurate and precise GPS measurement. Easy to use, interfaces with the Movescount web site which has some interesting metrics. You can also get an automatic sync with the Strava site after upload. Comfortable to wear, works well for cycling, works great for running.

Weaknesses:    Doesn't easily mount on handlebars

Bottom Line:
After long-term frustration with the gps of the iphone providing highly variable distances over the exact same course, I went searching for a GPS that I could use for running and riding that would be both accurate and precise. The Suunto Ambit 3 fits that bill. It's use is intuitive for simple functions and there's a myriad of functions I have yet to explore. Found a reasonable price (considering that they're really just unnecessary toys) on Amazon. I run everyday and ride multiple times a week -- I expect this to do my mapping and recording duty for several years.
