Strengths:    Incredible clamping force, good looks, removable lever for security.

Weaknesses:    Very easy to damage during fitment, (I terminally bent the rod in mine upon first fitment), although fortunately it works fine. VERY IMPORTANT to avoid damage, remove the plastic ring off the top prior to fitment, doing this will minimise the chances of damage, I cam'med mine up against it, you can always re-fit it once it's set up.

Bottom Line:
Mega bucks for a clamp, but it is the most expensive, and labour intensive build, (milled out of a single piece of of alloy billet), set up correctly it will last for years.

If X-lite instructed to remove the plastic sleeve prior, then would get 5 chilli's.

Strengths:    Weight.

Weaknesses:    Mmmm wear doe I start?...
- Seatpost keeps on slipping down
- Never got it tight enough (even tightened the bolt at the other end)
- Bolt finally broke off yesterday… and even before that the seatpost (USE Alien) was still slipping…. Will but back my old TREK clamp that came with the frame!

Absolute rubbish!! Get a normal clamp and save yourself the money… this product was very much a “show-off” piece that DOES NOT work…!!

Bottom Line:
Don't waist your money on this product!

Strengths:    very good clamping force, easy to use. Has a little pivot which prevents the rod from bending, which is a pretty cool little feature and when i lock my bike up it has a key which you can take out.

Weaknesses:    nothing wrong so far

Bottom Line:
great little collar, high quality and made in the uk !!!
