Strengths:
Um lightweight, bike candy.
Weaknesses:
looks odd and doesnt seat like you would expect.
Bottom Line:
Total waste of money! But then again most bike bits are when you get down to it :) These are beautyfully made but they are a very odd shape and narrower section sits on the brake pivot not into it like I somehow expected - so they look like they don't fit correctly! I think it will depend on the brakes you have because they look very odd with smooth curves of my deore V's - a little better with Avid single digit 7's and I think would go best with XTR's (because of the angular shape). If you have some cash burning a hole at the end of the month and you've got everything else, then consider these if not you could make better use of the cash - new socks, lottery, charity, fizzy water, etc.
