from phoenix Date Reviewed: September 23, 2002 | | Duration Product Used: | Tested or demo'ed only | | Similar Products Used: | Kryptonite 3000 NY, Masterlock Cuffs | | Bottom Line: | Check out Bicycling 1998 (June?) on locks. It took 15 sec. and the lock was off. Another example of how products look, but not function. Just like fishing lures. They are designed to "hook" the fisherman more than the fish. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$50.00 | | Purchased At: | specialized | | Strengths: | Looks cool and break-proof. No need to double-chek if the lock is closed: if both ends are joined and you took out the key, its closed, anyway you can´t get the key out of the lock. Cool rubber lock puch to screw in place of the water bottle. | | Weaknesses: | This design only allow to safe the bike with thin metal poles or tree trunks, but I always find some where I live. | | Bottom Line: | This is the best and coolest bike lock I know. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$36.00 | | Purchased At: | Bens Cycle And Fitness | | Strengths: | As Strong as a U lock But folds up to fit in your bike for easy portability. | | Weaknesses: | Might Scratch your bike but I would rather have a srachhed bike than No bike at all. | | Similar Products Used: | Kriptonite Ulocks | | Bike Setup: | GT Karakoram Lx wheels and rear derauller, XT front derauller, Deore hollowtech crank, Rock Shox Indy XC | | Bottom Line: | Really Good lock for your money. You should by this Lock if you do any City riding at all because it will pay for itself in no time. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
