Strengths:    Light, hart to cut, combo lock, clamp for frame, long enough to go through both wheels without removing.

Weaknesses:    Combination lock failed. I changed the combination and then locked it up, when I came back it wouldn't open. I had to go to the fire station to get two firemen to cut it. Specialized did let me swap it for a new one at the bike store with no receipt.

Bottom Line:
I'm worried that the lock may fail in a few months. I think the key lock version would be more reliable.

Strengths:    Strong and no stinking Keys!

Weaknesses:    Heavy and "springy"

Bottom Line:
My new bike is kinda spendy so I needed a lock. I hate loosing keys so I went into this wanting a combination lock. The Lock is also the weak link in any security system for your bike. My rechargable dremel tool will cut through a hardended pad lock in under 30 seconds. This Lock has no pad lock and using the bolt cutters or the dremel tool will take a while to cut through the cable. Really big powerful bolt cutters with new sharp jaws will do it easy but ordinary dull or smaller cutters will only mash the cable and make a big mess of it. Theifs will always attack the lock first.

The combo is integral to the cable and tough to break. I like it a lot except for the spring tension of the coiled cable I wish it were a bit loser then it is.
