I can't find tire liners for 27.5 - can i use 29?

The Performance Bike near my house doesn't sell tire liners for 27.5. Heck, they don't even have puncture resistant tubes for 27.5. Anyways, can I get away using 29 tire liner for my 27.5 tires?
