Strengths: Wide enough, light, easy & quick on/off.Weaknesses: No adjustability to downtube of variable diameter.Bottom Line: I ran this Mud-X dirtboard to provide additional coverage from the front 2.3 tyre with a new SKS Shockblade II fender. The Mud-X dirtboard is mounted quite low on the downtube to provide a much better coverage to the rider: only feet are now getting wet and muddy. The rubber fastenners are holding the dirtboard in place, no downward slippage after hard landing.
I had to sand off the 4 tabs to accomodate my wide downtube, so next time, I would recommend to get the X-Board dirtboard which is designed to accomodate both narrow and wide downtubes.

Bike Setup: All-mountain full suspension, 120 mm front/rear. Wide diameter downtube.
