from Toronto, Ontario Date Reviewed: September 16, 1999 | | Duration Product Used: | less than 1 month | | Strengths: | Simple and functional design, inexpensive, interior key loop, holds the essentials. | | Weaknesses: | None yet | | Similar Products Used: | OGC expandable seatbag. | | Bike Setup: | Kona Lava Dome, Marzocchi z5. | | Bottom Line: | I've got no complaints about this bag yet. I bought it as a replacement for my OGC seatbag (I had two fall apart in the space of two weeks) and it really is better. At 1000ml it holds everything you need (maybe more, I can be a little over-cautious): spare tube, tire levers, Leatherman supertool, 6 adjustable wrench, patch kit, spoke wrench, chain tool, allen keys, house keys, ID, health card (how's that for cautious!), and my Crank Brothers Power Pump. Durability is a question as I've only taken it on about 5 rides so far, but it looks pretty tough (it's an MEC product, I don't expect any probs). You can also get this bag in a 500ml size if you prefer to run a little bit leaner than me. | Overall Rating: |
