Strengths:    Keeps chain from nicking up chainstays.

Weaknesses:    Moves around on tapered stays.

Bottom Line:   
Check it every few rides to make sure it hasn't wiggled its way toward your rear wheel, uncovering a good part of the chainstay. When in place, it works fine.
