$10.00 | | Strengths: | Thick, flexible, super-sticky | | Weaknesses: | white "lizard" logo makes my bike look like it's crawling with geckos! | | Similar Products Used: | no-name frame protector patches | | Bike Setup: | Treck Fuel Ex8, Giant XTC850, Giant TCR Team | | Bottom Line: | $10 for 5 patches measuring about 15mm x 30mm is pricey, but it's got to be cheaper than a new frame or paint-job and these are the best frame patches I've used. The polyeurethane material is a good 2mm thick but really flexible so follow the surface of the frame really well. The adhexive is alo really good, just make sure you clean the frame with the supplied alcohol-coaked wipe before you apply for best results.
Only gripe is that each one has the lizard-skin logo in white in the middle of the patch - as two of my bikes are black it now looks like they've got tiny gecko's crawling all over them. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
