Bottom Line:
I have been running one of these for about 6 months now. It does most of the job required of it, but I still get a bit of a stripe, although nothing like what I would get without it. If it was just an inch or so longer I think it would be almost perfect. As for stability, at first I had a lot of trouble getting it to stay centred, and finally fixed it by using a bigger washer on the quick-release lever. The one that came with it was too small, and the lever metal too soft, so that it would bend around the asher and end up pressing into the plastic. The new washer fixed that and now it stays were I put it, unless it get physically bumped by something. So, all in all, a nice product, but with some implementation problems.

Bottom Line:
After riding months and months in the rain I have found nothing better to keep my back dry from the tradional mud strip. With a 28.8mm seat post I have no problems with slipping or twisiting like the above reiviewers have mentioned. For more complete protection a have added a Headlands Mudslide which has dramaticly reduced the amount of crud that flies in my face during my rides in the rain and mud. Another great product from a great company.

Bottom Line:
I spent more time trying to keep this thing centered over my back wheel than it was worth. It was seemingly always pointing off in the wrong direction, even with a rubber shim and clamp cranked down seriously tight. I've since switched to a fender with a frame mount system and it's much better.

Bottom Line:
Bought one of these when I got tired of looking like I had become one with the
muddy trails I'd been riding (winter in N.E. is messy-no way around it). The
quick release clamp is a nice idea, but I have had to really crank on it to
keep the fender from rotating or sliding down. I had to put a second piece of
rubber shim under the large clamp for my skinny USE post. When it stays put,
it does reduce biker's back streak and keeps my seat pack cleaner so I can get
at my tools when I need 'em. Does nothing for the rest of the bike however.
Not a bad idea for winter riding, and worth the $12 I paid at my favorite LBS.
