Bottom Line:
The damage control is the best chain ring guard next to a bash guard. It replaces the largest chain ring that i don't use at all. I went riding right after i put it on. I was impressed by how solid it was and how it slides over rocks and falled trees. I've had a lot of chain ring guards which costed a lot and my the guard would bend and damage my chain rings after 1 ride. Some of the ones that just bolt on to the crank and the large chain ring would bend my large chain ring as well as the spiders on my crank. Thats a lot out of my pocket $$$$$$$$$$$$. the Damage Control was the least expensive and worked the best.
