    Strength:

Erm, let me think ... well, it's cordless

    Weakness:

    Where do I start?
    The magnet is HUGE.
The batteries in the transmitter are weird and REALLY hard to find.
After about 6 months, something died. Only when the reciever was an inch from the transmitter it worked at all.
Buttons are hard to push as they're small, stiff & unresponsive.

Pile of garbage. Complete waste of money & wont buy a Vetta product again.

It wasnt only the weeks spent looking for a 1/2 AA sized 12V battery for the transmiter, or the magnet dying after 6 months for no apparent reason, or the transmitter failing or ... it was the total lack of response from emails sent to Vetta. Customer service? Non-existant.

NOONE should buy it. Stick with CatEye or Shimano.

    Strength:

Good features at a reasonable price

    Weakness:

Buttons are small and can be hard to press

I bought this computer for my road bike mainly because it had the cadence feature and because of my satisfaction with my C15 computer. I initially had problems with the cadence sensor slipping when I used the piece of sticky tape provided with the computer. I was able to keep the sensor from moving by replacing the tape with a small piece of inner tube and then cable tying the sensor to the crank arm. Since I've done this, the cadence sensor hasn't moved at all. I dropped the overall rating by one since things should work right out of the box without any re-engineering, but I still think it's a good value.

    Strength:

    -Great specifications and looks.
    -Nice legible display.

    Weakness:

-Worked for 3 *minutes* only. This piece of junk than peacefully rested it's soul (for no apparent reason).
-The plastic mount is so soft, you could easily scratch it with a fingernail...

Don't even think on buying this terrible product!

As it is, we don't have Vettas in Israel and I was really impressed with the specs of this computer.
So I asked my brother to buy one on his trip to the US (Denver). What a mistake!

Everything is installed EXACTLY according to the manual- the computer, the cables and the sensors. To no avail.
It just stopped working! It is as if the signals from the the sensors do not reach the computer.
Should I order a replacement cable and mount from overseas? I think not! There is no guarantee that this is indeed where the problem lies. And frankly, I am seek of the build quality of the device.

    My last Vetta for sure.

piece of crap. you have to look at the display for a good 2 sec to tell what it is saying and by that time your about to smash into a tree.

dont buy this piece of crap. It keeps resetting itself because the f'ing batterie won't stay in f'ing place. Buy something else. This is a piece of sh!t made somewhere in korea. Nobody should buy this! its nothing! pisses the hell out of me! i cant believe that i payed $35 for this. The screen sucks! this product sucks! dont buy it!

Moved from mtn bike to road bike - useless for mtn bike because of button size/position, OK for road bike. Love the Cat Eye though.

Not enough electricity running through it to kill you.

    Weakness:

    Small numbers.
    Weak mounting bracket.
    Hydrophobic.

Did I give this two stars before? I don't know why I was so kind. I took ONE ride in the rain and the thing crapped out. My wires are good, all contacts are clean, and it simply doesn't work anymore. What a piece of crap.

Do youself a favor and get a Cat Eye Enduro 2. It does everything right that this does wrong

    Strength:

    Great features for the price

    Weakness:

    - Mounting bracket is extremely weak.
    - Small buttons.
    - Small display.

I bought this over Performance's in-house brand because it was a "name brand." Hah. The third time I used it, I pressed the right button and the entire bracket snapped in half. Can you just replace the bracket? No, the two wires are hard-wired to it. Stupid.

I have 20/20 vision and I have to look longer than I think necessary to see the relevant data. I'd rather be looking at the road, thanks.

Finally, the buttons are too small. It's winter. I'm wearing winter gloves. Think about this too, Vetta.

    Weakness:

customer service!!!!! there is none!!! i have owned this product for 3 months, but used it less than 2 weeks!lost the cadence magnet, then lost my front wheel(and speedo magnet) on the interstate, where it was crushed by a truck.
have been corresponding with vetta ever since, and keep getting promises that the parts are on the way, but nothing happens. i have told them many times i don't expect freebies, the losses were my fault and i will pay for them. is anyone from vetta listening?

this may be a good unit, but how can you tell when you can't get parts? a product is only as good as the company that backs it. sorry vetta, but you get a HUGE thumbs down from me!!!
