MTS Date Reviewed: August 22, 2012 Strengths: The Yakima fork lift is a new edition to the Yakima bike racks family. The equipment is an easy to install which can be topped up on your car’s factory fitted bars and also on the bespoke or off the shelf bars which you may get from the market. The equipment is well built with good quality materials and you can easily mount your bike on it with one hand with another hand engaged while holding a drink! There is a very convenient security system and if you are a beginner to this biking arena, this product is for you. It will hold your bikes very easily and there will be no risk of damage. Weaknesses: The product however comes along with its cons as well. The feedback from some regular customers says that the plastic and some parts are not extremely durable, however if you are a casual user this comment should not worry you a lot. A few customers have reported that the plastic has come off from the mountings although it does not have any impact on the functioning of your product. The only problem can be that your bikes and the racks may be vulnerable to theft where the racks can be unassembled by way of unriveting the bolts. Bottom Line:

Mount shaped for universal fitment Weaknesses: Front clamp install is a little tedious to install when a fairing is already there. Skewer can be a pain to open. You need to reach behind & push the skewer open.
