Strengths: Good conceptWeaknesses: Rack can fail while drivingBottom Line: The Yakima Flipside has a serious design flaw. The retractable pin that holds the vertical member in place does not penetrate to a sufficient depth. This allows the rack to swing to the horizontal position while driving. This happened to me and seriously damaged my bike. Yakima needs to redesign this rack or equipment, vehicles, and people could get seriously hurt.
