from Burke, VA Date Reviewed: July 4, 2010 Strengths: Sturdy, strong, solid build. Arms can be folded down. Weaknesses: Way too heavy for me to carry in and out to my car! What's the point? Had to buy a $300 hitch first. Rack has some sway. Had to buy the locks separately. And the arms of this thing never did hold my bike without a lot of fuss and getting help from at least one other person. Too much trouble. from Athens, OH, USA Date Reviewed: May 26, 2010 Strengths: Folds down easily. Cradles do decent job of holding bikes steady. Weaknesses: Will only hold 4 bikes if they are exactly the right size in relation to one another. Lock system is minimalist crap. Sloping top tubes or DS bikes require separate adapter ($$) to mount them. If you have a Lefty-equipped bike, stay away from this kind of rack! from Corona, CA, USA Date Reviewed: August 8, 2009 Strengths: Easy to us and mount to hitch. Purchased locking system which is simple to use and hides with in the rack. Very solid when mounted (rack does not move). Excellent value for the price. Weaknesses: Bikes can move on the rails, haven't found a solution just yet. Locks are a deterent only, could easily be broken off.
