Strengths:    Cheap, easy installation/removal, works.

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:
I have two of these we use while in Europe. I bought them 3 years a go and have had absolutely no problems. They mount on round or square crossbars. My wife and I have driven throughout Eastern Europe with our bikes mounted on the Boas. Some of the roads we drive are quite rough and these keep our bikes secure. The rear wheel holder is made out of plastic, but this has not been a problem, We do not leave these mounted on our car year around, but only mount them for our six week annual vacation. Mounting and set up is easy and only takes a few minutes.

Does anyone know of a wide shoe with Boa laces?

My wide feet have made it very difficult to buy my first pair of bike specific shoes. I found some Scott Trail Boas at a local shop and I liked them quite a bit. The combination of the Boa with the softer material made it fit my feet significantly better than other shoes. I wasn't crazy with the ... Read More »
