Strengths: Very adjustable, lightweight, fits most every vehicle made, does not scratch bikes, quick on and off, carries 2 mountain and one kids bike easily, carries bikes very securely,
Weaknesses: pads will scratch paint if you get dirt on them and forget to wipe it off, more user error than a weakness.
Bottom Line:
We bought this when we purchased our bikes and now own 2 of them so we can transport out kids bike with ours to trails . after checking out my friends carriers we feel we made the right choice. Would recommend using a Bike Beam for full-suspension bikes to keep from damaging cables .
