Strengths:    Light weight. Folds up. Secure. No contact with vehicle.

Weaknesses:    Expensive. Hitch racks cost about the same.

Bottom Line:
Been using this rack with a minivan for a few months and think it it a great solution if you don't feel like or have the option of installing a hitch. It has a unique design that works as advertised. Has not scratched the vehicle at all and allows me to open the hatch with my bike secured to the rack. With two bikes in the rack, the hatch can be opened, but it is heavy and needs to be propped or held up with one hand while you grab something. Loading and unloading bikes is simple and quick. It also folds flat and I hang it on the wall in the garage. Love it - no complaints!
