Strengths:    Light weight. Folds up. Secure. No contact with vehicle.

Weaknesses:    Expensive. Hitch racks cost about the same.

Bottom Line:
Been using this rack with a minivan for a few months and think it it a great solution if you don't feel like or have the option of installing a hitch. It has a unique design that works as advertised. Has not scratched the vehicle at all and allows me to open the hatch with my bike secured to the rack. With two bikes in the rack, the hatch can be opened, but it is heavy and needs to be propped or held up with one hand while you grab something. Loading and unloading bikes is simple and quick. It also folds flat and I hang it on the wall in the garage. Love it - no complaints!

I'm thinking of putting drops back on and training for a Gran Fondo next summer. Talk me into it or convince me to get something lighter and faster. ... Read More »

All I can really find is an oil seal/wiper kit. Are there no other soft goods to change in these fork ... Read More »

POV Video from Gran Fondo last weekend!

Was fun but I ran out of batteries at the end! I'm shopping for some replacement gopro batteries and looking into these cheaper types from ebay/amazon. I'm reading good things about Wasabi batteries (1400 mah). An ... Read More »

Vicious Cycle Gran Fondo series (WA state), lots of climbing, gravel, rough roads

Not singletrack, but in the vein of the Leadville, the Crusher in the Tushar, etc. A couple years ago, Vicious Cycle put on a Gran Fondo in Ephrata WA, with 30 of the 80 miles being gravel. It's a great early season event. Lots of pavement, but generally more roadie than mtb. This year, two ... Read More »
