Product Description

The L-Caddy sports fitted pockets for a patch kit, tire levers, multi tool and cash, as well as a main cargo area for up to two spare tubes. Our thin, low profile design tucks gear away from your legs, while a triple-strap system firmly anchors it down.

Strengths:    Fits well, easy access to storage

Weaknesses:    Weak seams

Bottom Line:
I have to agree with the other reviewer. The multi-tool pocket is a great idea that is lacking in execution. I didn't notice that the pocket was tearing until I stopped to use my mult-tool and it wasn't there. The pocket had ripped and left my $65 Leatherman Skeletool laying in the sand somewhere on Poison Spider Mesa.

It is a bummer to give this pack a bad review, because Lezyne is clearly trying to innovate and I hope they continue trying because I like their ideas.

Strengths:    Lower pocket on bag allows quick access to your multi tool without going through all the junk in the main compartment of the bag.

Weaknesses:    Bad construction materials. This bag wore out quickly. Seams started to separate and my multi tool wore a hole between the upper and lower pocket. A hole about 1" in diameter. I contacted the company and the said they were updating the item and they would send me a new one free. Okay. That at least was something. Never came. Called again, finally it showed. Same bag. Yesterday the zipper pulled off the main compartment and now the zipper is non-functional. Also, the velcro closure to hold the bag in place at the seatpost is poorly designed. The zippers are taped for water resistance. This stuff doesn't stand up to any type of use let alone abuse. It really isn't a great feature anyway. It also cost more than any other bag I considered (Axiom, Arkel) but had better features. Good idea, bad execution.

Bottom Line:
Bad quality seat bag. Don't buy it. I like it for the features and design. But it just isn't made very well. Maybe the next version will be better.

Topeak Alien II and Lezyne L-Caddy

Hi I've recently bought a Alien II multitool. I have my eye on the Lazyne L-Caddy. Does the Alien II fit in the multitool pouch of the L-Caddy? It looks a bit flat.   Read More »
