Bottom Line:
The Crumpler bag continues to impress me. I've used it as my primary bag for three years now and don't even bother with a rack and pannier for most grocery runs. Just this last weekend a new high (or low) was reached that prompts my review. I was the hit of the party as a 30 pack of Pabst fit snuggly in the bag (along with my wallet, keys, school binder, two books and all the small clutter typically found at the bottom of the bag. Seriously, and the couple mile ride hauling the brew didn't even phase me. It still looks good too, after three+ years of typcial neglect. This bag has seen grease, snow, mud, rain, sunshine, etc and still looks better than the first day I strapped it on.

I have used this bag every day for work and was once a messenger so its had a good kicking. The great thing is it still looks new apart from the fluff sticking to the hook and loop stuff. not a scratch or tear anywere. and fully water proof should be the last bag i own. the only bad thing is i have to put lights on my bike wich i hate. couriers and commuters alike will have years out of there bag. trust me.

Strengths:
-Tough and strong ass. -Overbuilt but light, features wacky but dependable seatbelt material as part of the strap system, now that's something you can trust won't rip easliy under pressure. -Wider range of colours. -Crumpler's way of doing things. (wack names and stories to accompany each bag.) -Dimensions on the web says 60cmX32cmX14cm, but it's unexpectively massively bigger in real life. What am I going to do with all that space ? -Neat internal pocket.
Weaknesses:
-Lacks there reflective striping of the other messenger models, to alert psycho cabbies during low and no light conditions. (eg. winter mornings.) But that can be solved by attacting your own hi-viz striping. -Have to learn to used a 'sling' bag, but that's no big prob.
