    Strength:

The new 27.5 wheels climb virtually any type of terrain. The new DT Swiss rear shock works so well that I can hardly feel it is on the bike at all. Control of the front & rear shock is so smooth and works well both when climbing and also when descending. The Shimano SLX brakes work very well. On tight turns the bike feel very agile and loose, flying through with ease.
After riding a 2010 Scott Genius 40, the new Genius 730 has a fantastic set up and is one heck of a bike.

    Weakness:

    None that I could find.

The new Scott Genius 730 climbs like a fighter plane, descends like a dive-bomber and on flat terrain it flies fast compared to 26” bikes.
I waited for about a long to get the first Scott Genius 730 in Israel and after riding them for 2 weeks, my conclusion is very simple. This bike is a perfectly balanced riding package suited for and type of terrain you can find. It was worth waiting for the Genius 730!
I took the bike as supplied by Scott without any up-grades or changes of items; there is no need to make any changes the spec supplied is excellent for me.
The bike looks very good and received many praises from my group mates both on the looks of the bike and of course on the ride.
As far as I am concerned, I personally made a very good deal and can’t wait for my next ride on them.
