Strengths: Strength, weight, and tire seating. I would expect that durability will be on par with the other Stan's products.Weaknesses: None that I can detect.Bottom Line: I have had Dave Thomas (Speed Dream Wheels) build my last 3 wheelsets and in discussing the possibilities of putting a 27.5" wheel up front, he recommended the Stan's 355 650b, laced to a King hub. In making my 5.5 a 26" rear, 27.5" front I have raised the bar in performance and have made an enormous impact on my ability to roll over the roots and rocks of the trails of north Georgia. I have ridden the 650b wheel on front and the 26" on the rear on the past 3 rides and have experienced a higher level of rollover without any degredation in handling. With the ability to roll over obstacles raised, my confidence has gone up and thus raised my overall speed through sections I have ridden dozens of times.

Strengths: I bought these built at Stan's as the Hope hub ZTR flow wheelset. Took a lb off my 6.6 They have been hammered on, gap jumps and this weekend some 8 foot drops at Dirt Harry. I weigh in at 175-180 with nothing on. These wheels are still perfectly round. Too bad they hve eyelets. The taped rim strip they ship with it pretty easy to punchture with a tire lever, but with some 3m strapping tape in there they are bad ass, no leaksWeaknesses: expensive. lame rimstrip needs replacingBottom Line: Expensive but better than cross max in my opinion. Easily rebuilt at LBS if needed. None of the janky mavic free hub action.
Expsensive, but strong and light.
