- Looks: this bike is one of the prettiest hardtails, and MTB in general.
- Feel: EXTREMELY powerful on the climbs, good enough on the descends. The frame is stiff regarding pedal power, but feels nicer than aluminum on gravel / small-rocks terrain.
- Value: There's absolutely NO contest when considering price/quality ratio. NONE.

On-One Race 29er Carbon frame provide the best-hardtail/price ratio, period. One may argue that it's not the best hard-tail in the world (I don't think there's such thing anyway), but I'd be extremely surprised if anyone will show me a frame of this quality that costs anything near it's price.

The frame looks astonishing. It is very unique, and both the geometry designer and the graphic designer made an amazing job with this bike...

I am using the frame with XT brakes, x7/x9 derailleur set, x9 shifters and Fox RL 80mm front suspension. Nevertheless, I ride both light XC and aggressive XC (up to an AM point) using the bike - and I am extremely satisfied. The bike biggest strength is climbing power - I am able to clear out climbs that were impossible for me before. Handling it on single-track descents is a pleasure too, and although I can open up my front sus to 100mm, I am yet to do so.

All in all I am very pleased, and really don't think I'll ever sell the bike (at least I hope so... :). I'm sure that in time I'll move on to front sus, but when I'll do so I'd like to believe that I will also keep my beloved Race 29er, as it's really a piece of art,

Not the lightest carbon frame..can get lighter with Scott Scale by nearly a pound. The frame is somewhere around 1300g..pretty similar to an A9C

I have owned this bike for about 10 months now. They are not easy to come by. It seems like On One makes very limited runs of this frame and they seem to sell out very fast when they do. If you want one and can't get the frame alone, then they do offer it as a complete bike. I race Cat1 in S. California. The terrain out here is mostly hardpack dirt. This frame is perfect for my needs. Again, my ONLY complaint so far is that it is not as light as some other frames, but in order to get any lighter, you are looking at another $700+ easily for most frames. I always get compliments and questions about it at the start line. The ride is laterally stiff when out of saddle climbing and fairly forgiving when seated. I do wish that it came with a 27.2 post to add a little cush in the trail chatter sections, but it isn't bad. So far so good!
