After reading a rather odd and confusing review of this brand and model of mountain bike I couldn’t help it but feeling totally dismayed. The review was written on August 2014 giving it a 2.5 stars. I won’t go into details about the name of the publication or the writer but I have come to the conclusion that this person did not have the tested model adapted to its optimal settings. I purchased my Look 927 at the end of 2017 Spring so it will be almost 2 years old in a month or so and my experience so far has been nothing but positive. My husband who is an advance mountain bike rider adjusted everything according to my body and weight specifics, everything was carefully dialed in down to the very little details. We rode a few trails with varieties of terrain and under different conditions and made little adjustments to the bike along the way. In the end, I have been enjoying not only a great handling machine but an absolutely beautiful looking one. All of the adjustments mentioned by the other user reviews are a most and they do make a world of difference. In resume; The bike is very responsive, fast to accelerate, climbs effortlessly, flies in the downhills, corners with confidence, etc, etc. I just love this bike.

Weakness:

If possible and budget permitted, get the best components you can afford. A set of carbon wheels matched with a good pair of tires will make an additional improvement.

I own my Look 927 for a little over 2 years now and I LOVE IT! At the beginning it took a while to get used to it and the way it handled . As other reviews estate, you must have all settings and shocks adjustment done properly and one must ride it until you find the perfect balance and performance. Changing the wheels, tires and handlebar from the ones stocked with the bike made another big improvement. Look carbon bikes are characteristically well made and superb handling machines and the 927 attest to that tradition. This machine can fly up and down with confidence and control. Rarely you see someone else riding a 927 in British Columbia area where I live and enjoy riding this beauty. No matter where I go heads are turning all over.

Weakness:

A shorter stem would have been more practical as well as adding more cushion than 120mm

Good handling and quite responsive in both climbs and downhills. It took a while to get it dialed in for best performance with my particular riding style and body specifics. Both front and rear suspension need to be carefully set in conjunction with optimal tire pressure and you end up with a superb handling bike. You can't beat the looks as well. Love it!

Weakness:

I wish the suspension combo have more travel.
