Strength:

Well the 888RC2 is quite an art to look at, nice looking, VERY stiff in its ride. Excellent bottom out resistance, so what can be wrong right??

Weakness:

Great fork for the first five rides that is. And then YES the infamous "supposed to be there" bushing play rears its ugly head.

This fork looks and rides great, and if you plan on only doing about 10 hours of riding at the most, this fork might be your ticket. However JUST LIKE the 08's models, this fork has developed EXTREMELY unacceptable levels of bushing slop. Really poor quality control if you ask me. You would "think" that Marz would fix this issue in the 09 model after their disasterous 08 offerings??

Marz went from being the best years ago to maybe the worst in a matter of a couple years. I hope the move in manufacturing from Italy to Taiwan is really working out for the company, because at this rate, Marz is in big trouble unless they can fix this issue. Goodbye Marz ... you have lost a 5 year loyal supporter.
