bad ass upgrade to the drop off triple i had, the multiple adjustments, 40mm stanchions in a single crown
heavy oil leaking through dust seals stanchions get coated with oil then dust and what not gets caked on the stanchions and creates more problems with the fork yeah i clean the stanchions after every ride but not every single pass of the trail who dose that
sh*&% sh*&% did i mention sh*&% sram rock shox customer service and warranty not only me with problems but other friends with problems with pike and argyle
all i can say is in my opinion i was new when getting a top of the line fork like this brand new had no ideas knew nothing just ready for the upgrade my riding skills improved and deserved some nice equipment i also wanted the 66 but found this first at a price i could afford you could say i was a like a kid in a candy store. this is a risky fork to get great nice fork till you as a rider understand forks and have ridden this enough to break it in
i really hope that more people with fox and marzocchi forks that have used the totem fork can give an all around comparisons
2 chillies because although you will be bombing at first you will be regretting the problems later not only with the fork but all so with sram
4 for value because of the deal

but what really matters i have no comparison to this fork that would make a single difference

None so far, blew through travel on a two foot drop with 170 lb rider.
Compression damper is defective, no hsc very little lsc when turned up. Oil levels are unfortunately spot on.
Sram and shop owner have done very little to assist with making this fork usable. Sram claims to be out of cartridges until mid December and that will put down time into the three month range if they manage to even uphold that projected delivery date! All that support with a brand new fork is just despicable. Thankfully my 66 works great in its place.

Soaks up mostly everything, lightweight, adjustable. I don't know if it is the way I have it set up but I have never felt a harsh bottoming feeling like other forks when bottomed out.
Soaks up mostly everything...including some bumps I'd like to jump
This fork has gotten me out of a lot of the "sh*t I am going too fast for this" times.
Spending most of my time riding Motocross: I tend to be hard on mountain bikes but this has held up to my abuse; all I have done is take care of it and it has taken care of me.
For how much travel this fork has it still feels very predictable.

The Fork is buttery smooth. When it is not leaking it is the best fork I have ever ridden. The adjustments are awesome when you turn the dial you actually feel the different settings. The floodgate is amazing for climbing.
Because of so much tech in the mission control assembly it has created a leak twice now in one of the o-rings between the floodgate and the high speed compression adjusters. Once the oil leaks out the fork is a unstable pogo stick.
When this fork is operational it is the best fork money can buy. I just hope that rockshox/SRAM gets there problems worked out and continue to create some of the best components possible. During one ride I had to just guess how much oil to put in and seal the adjusters with some silicone. it lasted for a bit, them one day while riding some street the fork turned to mush and almost made me crash. Once it comes back from Rockshox I expect that it will once again be the best fork on the market.

First off I'd like to say that the stanchion tubes are not 38mm they are 40mm. They are super strong and fairly light.
Blew the main seals in two weeks, and then after four weeks blew the internal and Mission Control seals.
I was not pleased with the durability of the seals, however Sram took care of me and sent me a new pair of forks that I recieved on 7/13/08. I raced them on 7/20/08 and had no problems.

This fork is rock solid. 38 mm stancion tubes make this fork beastly. Mission control gives this fork incredible versitility. This fork is awesome. I've been riding this fork for 5 months and so far I have no complaints.
It's not a triple crown fork. I ride alot of dh so that would be nice. However, so far its been great and I don't think I want a triple crown fork anymore.
This fork is awesome. I love riding with it, it feels so right. I also use it for urban and dj and it works great. All I can say is get this fork if you can afford it.
