I bought an item online at a great price! The staff called me and then told me to buy local because shipping was to high. The true was they miss priced the item and after two attempts to get me to cancel they canceled the order for me. No integrity!!! Then they questioned me like about the price, ask if I knew it was wrong, as if I owned the store. Bad business in my opinion!

Customer Service

Awesome customer service! 5stars
people work here are nice and helpful

Here's my latest shopping experience at this shop.
I ride flat pedals but I wanted to try clipless pedal at one point, and bought a pair of shoes here, asked if I can bring it back after trying it out like walking in the mall to see if it's comfortable.
they said ok and i found it's not something for me, so returned the shoes with NO TROUBLE AT ALL!!
I'm definetly coming back to this shop for more stuff in the future.

I spent 13 years wrenching and selling in various bike shops, and I have to say that Fairhaven is a great shop with a great vibe. The employees all know what they are talking about, but don't have the snotty attitude you run into in a lot of other high-end shops.

Customer Service

Steve, service manager, is a great guy and willing to do therequired leg work. They have ordered parts for me a couple times.

"Steve" contributed in large part to one of the most rewarding experiences in my life! His skill, attitude and patience made my STP experience one that I will never forget.

Customer Service

I made a committment to myself early in 2007 to ride STP at age 60. I worked with Steve who recommended the bike and set it up for me. He continued to support me and all the little querky things that stood between me, comfort and a respectable sustained ride speed. I just finished STP and I can easily say that everything Steve did and every piece of advice he gave me contributed to an experience I will never forget. Thanks to Steve, his skill, his smile and his patience with me I had the ride of my life and intend to do it again next year. Thanks to Steve and the Fairhaven Bike Shop.

Half decent selection, though very road, family, and XC oriented.

Customer Service

Ran into some problems here, the one time I took my bike in for some work.
Difficulties were encountered, ended up aborting most of the work that was being done, then had the ownership of several of the parts on my bike challenged by the wrench. Overall, between the condescension I got over the phone, and the implications offered in the shop, this was my first and last time taking my bike here.
Too many other options in town, I'll go for one marginally less close to home in the future.

The silver lining is that they noticed some cracks in my rear triangle.
Other than that, a poor experience.

Shop seem to cater to the middle-aged spandex crowd; if you enjoy towing your kids around in those baby trailers on your bike, you might like this place.

Customer Service

Of the 5 or so bike shops in town, I really disliked shopping at Fairhaven and Jack's. After wandering around the store for 10 minutes looking for a sales person, I asked for a test ride; the guy didn't bother to set up the air shocks and clearly wasn't interested in answering my questions.

It's the only show in town as far as Specialized goes.

Very helpful staff. From when I walked in they had great service. They knew I wasn't going to buy a bike that day and yet still were there to help me with my questions and also offered to let me still ride the trials and test the bikes. They also match prices. All bike shops in Bellingham are great though.
