Cottonwood Cyclery - Bikeshops, Salt Lake City, Utah

DESCRIPTION

What are we?
We are a bicycle and Skateboard shop, located in the city of Cottonwood Heights, UT.

Who are we?
Cottonwood Cyclery was founded to provide the cycling community of the greater Salt Lake area with a place to call their own.
We don't focus on bikes we focus on our customers and their needs, essentially we are building the store around you and your needs.
We are racers & recreationalists beginners and enthusiasts.
We can remember back to when we started, we have enjoyed racing, long epic rides or just following our child around the block on their first rides.
We understand that not everybody can afford or wants a $5000.00 bike but are happy and excited to accommodate those who do.
We love what we do and we love the people that we do it with.
We have partaken in almost every aspect of the sport, from BMX Racing, to the local crit series to commuting & touring.
We have never been very good at any of them but we were having fun, and isn't that what it's really all about?

Great store - very conveniently located

Customer Service

Great service. 3 of my daughters and I were planning a ride on Memorial Day and I needed a smaller seat post for one of my daughters to ride my older bike that was a little to big. I stopped off at Cottonwood on the way to our ride to see if they had an old post or one I could purchase. The bike was an old specialized with a very thick seat post. Although, the store didn't have one the owner was able to quickly just cut the post down to make it fit and allowed me to fix a quick flat with their pump and tools and didn't charge me anything and off we went. Would highly recommend this store to anyone!

This is a "Can Do" shop. I was on a trip and had lost a part to my Yakima Bike Rack and although they did not have the Yakima part in stock, they were very helpful coming up with an alternative part that worked. It was much appreciated.

You won't find a better neighborhood shop anywhere - small, but they know what they're doing &how to do it - plus they're nice people.

Customer Service

I do most of my service myself, but did need some help getting an old freewheel off & they pulled the tool of the wall of parts/tools and spun it off for me no charge. About all anybody could ask for.

I dropped in one morning to looks at the new bikes and they fitted me up, answered my questions and did it again & again - then told me to have a nice day when I rode off afterwards. Not sure they could have been nicer.

These guys are great! They keep all the parts I need stocked at good prices. Plus, they've helped me with countless adjustments after I've given myself a headache in my garage. They're my go to, neighborhood shop!

Alan, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to give me a good introduction to mountain biking and set me up with a great bike.

After using several bike shops I finally found Cottonwood Cyclery. These guys will have me as a customer for life. They were so patient and helpful about helping me build my new mountain bike. With Alan, AJ, and the team, I was able to build this bike just in time for a trip to Moab. Unfortunately Shimano was sold out of the crankset that I needed and these guys went out of their way to lend me crankset for free! You won't be able to find another bike shop that treats their customers so well. Thanks guys, you kick ass!
