Chile Pepper is rocking right now with the Chile Pepper HoDown. Last year the event raised $8,000.00 to do work on the Bike Park on 500 West in Moab. They hope to raise more this year. In fact, the Jump Jam will be held there in 2013. Getting ready for the annual ridiculous costume party, races, clinics, and films. If you haven't attended this October event, plan to do so soon.

Customer Service

Seems my bike is always needing parts and the staff are always helpful.

I only visited this shop based on other reviews here on MTBR, and I wasn't dissapointed. Overall A+. Clean store, huge selection, friendly atmosphere. They actually had some items in stock I couldn't even find online. To top it all off, there's a Barista IN the store? Awesome. Prices are pretty much retail, but you don't go to Moab to bargain shop.

Customer Service

Excellent customer service, from the cashiers to the mechanics, they were all superb. The shop was very busy over the several days I visited, but no one ever acted like I was a pain in the @ss. The mechanics answered a couple questions I had about setup while they were working, or even stopped what they were doing to show me. A+ guys.

I have nothing to say about the other shops in Moab, but even so, I will ONLY be going to the Chile in my future Moab trips, solid work. Thank you for the hospitality Chile employees!

Greatest shop in Moab hands down!!
Rented a bike there for my wife, seamless service!
Came back and bought the bike. They did an amazing job on preparing it. They were also able to fix my bike at the last minute so I could ride Porcupine the next day before leaving Moab!

Customer Service

Great, friendly and very reasonably priced! Good advice from staff and everyone seems to have fun and enjoy working there.

Six of my friends and I went to Moab for the first time 4.26.12. We all rented their high end bikes since it was more economical to rent than to lug our own. The planning was made easy via e-mails with Tracy, Sylvi, Annie and Alison. Once there the checkin went without a hitch and I can't say enough about the knowledge of the mechanics. Every evening the mechanics retuned the bikes for us that were ridden hard and put away wet.
The expresso stand was a great touch. They also made a seamless connection for us to hook up with Rim Tours.

Customer Service

The customer service was what I would expect from a family owned shop. EVERYONE made the experience easy and not a bother. My hat is off to the motivator of Chile Pepper bike shop

I hit Moab once a year and Chili has always been pretty good to me. They have a good selection and they seem to know what they are doing.

Customer Service

Last year I started using a different shop for two reasons. First, I'm an avid Santa Cruz rider and they no longer deal with Santa Cruz. Not much can be done about that and I understand that brand decisions are made for the good of the shop. Second, though I consider myself an experienced rider woth 15+ years under my belt, I'm not a bike mechanic. I brought my bike in to have the discs looked at and turns out all I needed was to get them a bit dirty to have them work better. Simple solution, but I caught one of the mechanics laughing at me because I didn't know the solution myself. That simply left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully no one else has had this experience.

Good shop in the Moab area. Doesn't have the widest selection in town, but I have always found what I needed there.

Customer Service

Customer Service is where this shop shines. I have rented bikes, had my own bikes serviced there, and received lots of good "locals" knowledge. They have charged very reasonable rates or fixed minor problems gratis. Chile Pepper is the first place you should go for your MTN Biking needs.

Helpful compitent employees. Quite a pleasant contrast to Moab Cyclery -see my review. There is a reason why these guys are busy. Reserve online ahead of time at www.chilebikes.com

Customer Service

I will rent from Chile Pepper again. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience! It was great to try out a great bike and not have to tote my own along on the trip. I live in Utah and have frequent adventurous visitors. Count on seeing me again guys!

Thanks!
