This is the best laid out shop in Utah. They stock a lot of high end inventory and parts ( give Rockshox some love) and their floor space is amazing. The wench area is top notch and open so you can see what's going on.

Customer Service

Best I've had. I don't know who the last reviewer was but I always get treated with respect and the deals are great. Maybe not the shop for you if you are looking for a hand-out, this is a business, in a very competitive field. I love this shop.

The staff is the best they actually ride and have years of experience in all fields of cycling. The shop is also very active in the community and with trail groups.

Come on BE? Treat your customers with some respect. Just cuz were old doesnt mean we dont know bikes....total disrespect to the customer and never....never a deal to be had here. Can you say taking it dry. The amount of money you lose weekly from me and my friends would spin your head....

Customer Service

Beautiful shop with some pretty bright talent on the wrenches but the attitude is drippy and sticky with superiority. Get a grip.

For an emergency tube or tire lever.....maybe. They can only jack up the prices so high on those items. For sumpin big...no way.

This is one of the nicest bike shops I've been in. Loaded inventory and all of the eye candy. Decent location, although it is a ways out for me. I make it a point to stop by when I'm in the area. They have some great gear for triathletes (I would always like to see more, but they have as much as anyone). They support the X-Terra Rocky Mountain Championship every August along with other events, so I like to support a shop that supports the biking and triathlon community.

Customer Service

Staff seems knowledgeable enough. They're friendly and helpful. I've never gotten the impression that the customer doesn't come first. I bought a lot of stuff there and haven't had any problems.

The store is laid out well. They have a good selection of bikes and accessories. They offer a pro-fitting service using a computer aided fitting system. Overall it is a good store from a merchandizing stand point. Their prices are not very good, they are average to high.

Customer Service

This shop needs to learn about customer service.

I went in to buy a bike on behalf of my brother-in-law. The purchase had been rung up, and they started to put the miscellaneous extras (pedals, grips, etc) onto the bike. At that moment, my brother-in-law called to tell me he had purchased a different bike. I asked if I could return the bike. The manager indicated that it would be alright, but of course he was not happy about it. The sales person retuned the bike and credited my account. Just then the manager came over and asked if the sales person voided the sale or returned the credit to my account. The sales person had returned the credit to my account instead of voiding the sale. This meant that the store would be charged a processing fee. In the meantime the manager was giving me dirty looks and making snide comments and tried to make me think this was my problem, when in fact it was his because he had not trained his employee correctly. Bottom-line: by the time all was said and done, I would never go back to this shop.

Admittedly, I may have hit this shop on an off day because I have been there before and been treated okay (although I have never received a good deal with this store, see my comments on prices in the above section); however, in this business it only takes one bad experience to ruin a customers perception and the buyer/seller relationship.

If you are looking for a Titus or Cannondale, go to Revolution.

If you are looking for a Santa Cruz, go to JAN’s or Guthrie’s.

I normally don't post reviews. I feel like I need to due to the absolutely terrible experience I had with this shop. I bought my dream mountain bike at the shop ($5000). I had trouble with some brakes that they suggested and we sent them off to warranty them. In the meantime, I explained that originally(they were out when I bought my bike) i really wanted the Juicy 7's in the first place. They told me that they had a demo bike with Juicy 7's that had been used one time, and that they would swap them across and refund my brakes. When I picked up my bike there was a trashed juicy 7 on the front and a demolished juicy 5 on the back. I was offended (I spent over $500 for the brakes)and they tried to give me what looked like garbage off of a buddies bike. Then they told me to come back in a week and pick up my brakes that had been waranteed. When I went back, they had forgot and put them on another bike that was being sold. They were totally shady about it and really treated myself and my wife poorly. They finally took my brakes off of another customers bike (he was in the shop at the time getting used brakes on his bike also) and I have never gone back.

Customer Service

See above. Beautiful store, but it appears they try to cut corners and are shady.

Beautiful shop. Very clean, good selection of merchandise, and decent prices on most items, from what I can see. They give a 10% military discount, too! THEY ACTUALLY CARRY MAVERICK BIKES, WHICH IS A GOOD THING. NO ONE DOES BACK EAST!

Customer Service

Very good. Staff is friendly, and very knowledgeable too. People will talk to you for a while and help you pick out what you're looking for. The people in there actually RIDE, and that always makes for a better bike shop.

The shop has the atmosphere of california's big box stores, with lots of high end bikes, and tons of clothing. Surprisingly the employees are actually pretty cool, and they have enough that you will definately find one you can click with. Its good that there are so many people in the Layton area that support such a store.

Customer Service

The people are really nice and are willing to chat for a good amount of time, despite how busy they area.

Not the place to find good deals, the store has a huge selection, but that selection comes at a price.

Excellent Service. I just bought my boy his first Mtn. Bike, a Jamis Jester and Bikers Edge fulfilled every promise and more. They serviced my Cannodale Mtn. Bike last season and did an excellent job. You could not ask for a better owner than Zac.

Great shop, best line-up of bikes in Utah.

This shop is top notch. They have a nice selection of all sorts of gear. It is a nice environment and always well stocked. It is a pleasure to shop there.

Customer Service

The folks at this shop are knowledgeable and honest. If they don't know something, they will find someone who does rather than try to wing it. They were extremely helpful and patient with me on my dream project; a custom built Racer X. The final build was absolutely flawless.

They have developed a strong reputation and are therefore extremely busy during the early part of the season. Be patient with them if you need mechanical help during the spring and early summer. They will do it right.
