nice shop.

Customer Service

Bad. Bash my pedal on stand over and over. Slamed my chain in to spokes. Being a mech myself thats a nono. If you value your bike don't take it there. Take it to nrc in kyle.

By far the worst shop, I went in there to get a new starnut installed in my fork. I told the owner to just push it down further so that the new starnut could be installed. the owner insisted that we needed to get the old one out because it would add weight.....ya. Then I had to take the old starnut out because he messed it up so bad and then installed the new one. So in the end, I had to pay $25 to remove the old starnut that I just wanted pushed down in the first place and then install a new one and I did all of the work.

Customer Service

Horrible, always tries to sell me something when I would go in there and would tell me that the bikes that he had for sale were better than mine. And I would tell him that I didnt really care, and then he would tell me that I got a bad deal on my bike and that I shouldve bought from him....I know that I got a good deal on my bike because I got it for hundreds less than what EVERY single other one that people were selling.

great for fixed gear bikes, and low end mountain / road / hybrid bikes

I will stop by there every once in a while to use a bottom bracket tool or something along those lines. Fairly cool guys, but DO NOT let them work on your bike. they know what they're doing pretty well, but the labor charges will hit your wallet hard.

The parts found at the shop are priced at MSRP or even a little above, and most of the time it would be cheaper to order items online (AND ship them) than to buy from the hub.

Customer Service

nice guys, ridiculous labor fees

By far my favorite shop. I'm always glad to have an excuse to stop by, as The Hub has the hard to find combination of being laid back and fun without compromising first-rate service. The owners are knowledgeable, friendly, and fair. As mechanics, they can fix anything. As bike brains, they have an astonishing mental catalogue of all things bike (and then some). And as cooks, my god!- stop by for beans if you can.

Customer Service

Fast, effective, and personal.

The Hub is the place to go for anything bicycle related in central Texas. From products to customer service, The Hub by far provides the best out of any shop I have ever visited. My favorite thing about the Hub is they are the only shop that is opened on the Sundays! With competitive prices and great service, the Hub is the place to be.

Customer Service

Great Customer service and Beans and Rice for local riders every Thursday.

Don't go anywhere else in San Marcos!

Customer Service

Alex and Andy are the best. They make you feel at home and fix your bike right. They are also a wealth of information on where to ride in San Marcos.

Since this place opened I have gone no where else. Andy and Alex are always there, keeping the mood of the shop light. Ever time a break something I take it there and I know they will get it fixed fast and right the first time. I don't really have much to say except I really like this shop. I would drive from Austin or San Antonio just to do business with these guys.

Customer Service

Great, they always have a smile and really want to solve your problem and get you back out on the road quick.

The Hub is not only good at maintaining their business, but also at creating an exciting and social atmosphere. I used to work next door to The Hub and there was never a time when there wasn't a group of people standing outside, working on their bikes or just hanging out (of course, Andy and Alex were always hard at work inside). It is rare to find a business that not only attracts the serious, legitimate biker but also the general joy-rider, and regardless, keeps them all coming back whether they have a problem to fix or not. I am not a huge biker, but I can vouch for the reputation of this place- it is definitely worth your trip and they will make sure to take care of you!

Customer Service

Alex and Andy are both honest, hard workers that are more than ready to help anyone with a problem and able to do it. From the day they began working on the shop, through the long nights waiting for their first shipments, and on to the Grand Opening- I never saw Andy or Alex waiver in their committment to make The Hub the most inviting place in town. They always keep an open door- and both guys make sure to keep that not just a literal saying- everyone is welcome and they make sure you feel it the second you walk in.

Don't forget to say hi to Dixie.
