This is a review of the squirrel hill location only, i have never been to the monroeville location. This shop seems like more of a road bike shop that will deal with mt. bikers if they have to, but they wont be happy about it.

Customer Service

I could write a 10 page article on how poor the service was, but in a nutshell, it was rude and dismissive. I grew up in the neighborhood where the shop is located but have lived in Montana for the past 15 years. I decided to ship a 2005 Kona Dog mt. bike back to Pittsburgh so I would have a bike to ride on my visits to the city. I chose this shop on the recommendation from a friend who used to know the owner. When I stopped in to pick up my bike, the same owner would not give me or my wife the time of day. We were also informed what a pain in the ass it was to reassemble my bike. I spent about $140.00 with them including the purchase of a computer for my bike. Having never mounted a computer on a bike, I asked for advice on the correct way to mount it. I was told to go look at a bike hanging on the wall that had one...Rude and dismissive. What an unfortunate way to represent Pittsburgh - a city I find to be one of the friendliest in the nation. Fortunately, this shop is the exception, not the rule.

They are movin to a new larger location shortly. They have great prices on everything I've bought there. Their prices have actually been lower than I could find online for most parts.

Customer Service

Great service, very friendly and willing to help you even with very inexpensive jobs unlike some of their competitors.

clean atmosphere, The inventory is very intact with todays standards in professional and also recreational cycling products that are available.

Customer Service

Professional quality service that is almost completely concentrated on the products...these people are not going to try to sell themselves to you...and there is no pressure to pull out your wallet just because you walked through the door.
