Great bike shop. You won't find a coffee bar or the latest greatest top of the line stuff you saw in the magazine last week. They have everything you need, do great work and are just cool guys.

Jack is one of the best mechanics around. This is the best place in the Charlotte area to go for handbuilt road or mtb wheels.

Shop is a Giant retailer. Has a pretty good selection of bikes. Prices are pretty damn firm though. They aint negotiating. The issue i found with the shop was the "percieved" owner seem to talk down to me because i wasn't gropping $1200 on a bike. He kept trying to push the high end higher priced bikes on me. I'm a damn teacher and i have two kids. I can afford to drop a couple grand on a bike. I finally settled
on model for about $600 and the guy acts like it not worth his time to sell me the bike. His attitude and demeanor was not becoming at all. I mean $600 aint no walk in the park, i had been saving for about three months. Then he treats me like a nuacence. I had been to Charlotte but decided i'll support the local guy, i'd rather give him my money than some one in Charlotte. That was a mistake i will not buy anything from the guy again.

Customer Service

Before buying my bike from him i had always brought my Sports Authority Mongoose to him for service. The service was mediocore. He kinda short talked me and rushed me out of the door. Now his skill and expertise where great. He seemed to know his stuff and on some occations was quite helpful. I guess his attitude is what made the difference. It is close to tax time and i'm ready to upgrade to a better bike. I'm gonna take my service to Charlotte from now on.

I used to live in Gastonia and loved this shop. It is not huge but has a good selection and most things you would need. The prices are very fair.

Customer Service

The guys who run this shop are great. They were never pushy or belittling. We bought my wife's bike there and they really stood back and let us make our decisions. They did give helpful advice but never told us what to do. That was a nice change from lot of bike shops that push the top of the line stuff that only racers and people with too much money want or need.
